Honouring the Creator, our gods and ancestors.

A day set aside to honour the day that every single individual came into this world or reality to fulfill the purpose and the reasons why we came here in the first place. Because of western influence and education, many of African descends are totally eluded with the significance of the day they came into this realm which we call KRADA.

On these days, Necessary rituals and ceremonies are performed to reactivate the purpose to which we came into this realm and strengthen and endowed with the spirit of might to do that which we came here to do.

KRADA is the day your true journey begins and here at MEKRA we help you to start this journey.

Countdown to our BIGGEST Festival

Cleansing your Kra

The programming and accumulations we encounter when we enter this world have caused the majority of us to pollute and dishonour our KRA thus making our physical bodies spiritually and ceremoniously unclean for the KRA to inhabit and dwell to carry out its purpose in this physical realm.

For this reason it is necessary  for us to cleanse our KRA in order to bring our physical bodies back into alignment with our KRA and to ward off negative energies and
influences which hinder our advancement and progress in this dimension.

AFA Divination is the tool that is used to assist with this process of cleansing our KRA.

Feeding your Kra

The Feeding of the KRA  literally means giving it the power, strength and joy to successfully pursue its journey and assignment in this physical realm.

A well-fed KRA is empowered and has the freedom to now accomplish its assignments and purpose in this physical realm.

To help us know exactly what your KRA needs to be fed with, AFA Divination will inform us on the appropriate food that your KRA likes and dislikes.

Honouring gods & Ancestors

We will never progress until we look back to how our fathers conducted themselves, their practices and way of life. To look back is to dig into our roots to discover and understand what keeps the tree rooted in the ground (Asaase Yaa).

Having done this, we would then have a good sense of what is required to keep the tree rooted. The earth represents the gods and energies around us. The roots represent the ancestors, i.e., those that came before us. The stem represents the lineage we are coming from and the branches represent the generations of today. These components all work together to ensure the survival of the family tree. Without these essential components, the tree dies.

For this reason, we at MEKRA believe it is necessary to periodically  look back and honor these essential components that keep the family together. This ensures us a bright and promising future.

We must always keep in mind that when the earth suffers, the roots die, and once the root dies, the entire tree dies. When the tree dies, there is no tomorrow. Honoring the Gods and Ancestors is a great necessity for the continuation of a generation. Hence the reason why we at MEKRA offer such powerful rituals to our Gods and Ancestors.
